Menstrual cycle and glucose

Relate your glucose to your menstrual cycle and spot patterns, reading data from Apple Health or Health Connect.

Menstrual cycle and glucose

Diablesse can relate your glucose to your menstrual cycle, helping you spot patterns β€” for example, whether glucose tends to rise in the premenstrual phase.

How it works

The app reads the cycle data already in Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). So if you already track your cycle in another app (Flo, Clue, Apple Health, etc.), Diablesse uses that data β€” you don't have to log it again.

πŸ”’ It's read-only: Diablesse never changes your cycle data.

How to enable it

  • Open Settings β†’ Integrations.
  • Turn on Apple Health / Health Connect (if it isn't already).
  • Turn on "Menstrual cycle" and grant the read permission when prompted.
  • Tap Sync (or pull the screen down).
  • ℹ️ The "Menstrual cycle" option appears according to the sex set in your Profile.

    What you see

On the Trends tab, when there's enough data, two indicators appear:

  • Glucose Γ— menstruation β€” average glucose on menstruation days compared to other days.
  • Glucose Γ— premenstrual (PMS) β€” average glucose on the days before menstruation compared to the rest. In this phase, insulin resistance commonly rises.
  • Tap each indicator for an explanation. They also appear in the PDF report and in Export to AI.

    Good to know

  • The premenstrual phase is an estimate (the days before the start of the recorded cycle). Use it as a trend, not as a diagnosis.
  • The indicators only appear when there's glucose logged on the cycle days.
  • Your data stays on your device and in your account; it is not shared.
  • Frequently asked questions

Do I need to log my cycle in Diablesse?\ No. It reads from Apple Health / Health Connect.

The cycle option doesn't appear.\ Check the sex in your Profile and that the health integration is active.

I enabled it, but no indicators show up.\ You need cycle days and glucose on those days. Sync and wait for the cloud to update.

Does this work for people who use Flo/Clue?\ Yes, as long as the app is connected to Apple Health / Health Connect.
