How to use Favorite Meals

Favorite meals let you save complete combinations of foods you often eat together. That way, when logging a meal in the diary, you can add all the items at once, speeding up input and ensuring consistency in your entries.

    How to create a Favorite Meal

  • Open the Favorites screen\
  • In the app's bottom bar, tap the Favorites icon.
  • Select the Meals tab\
  • At the top of the screen, switch to the Meals tab (next to "Foods").
  • Add a new favorite meal\
  • Tap the + (plus) sign to start creating.
  • Name your favorite meal\
  • Examples: "Full breakfast", "Quick lunch", "Afternoon snack", "Standard dinner".
  • Add the foods that make up the meal
  • - Search and select each food you want from the database - Enter the amounts (portions, grams, units) - Repeat until you've included all the meal's items
  • Save the favorite meal\
  • Tap Save to finish.

    How to use a Favorite Meal when logging a meal

  • In the diary, tap Add entry and select the Meal type.
  • On the food selection screen, look for the Favorite Meals section.
  • Tap the favorite meal you want.
  • All the foods in that combination will be added automatically.
  • βœ… The meal's total carbs will be calculated based on the sum of the included foods.

    Editing or removing items at logging time

    Even when using a favorite meal, you keep full control over what you're logging:

    Practical example

    You create a favorite meal called "Breakfast" with:

  • Bread rolls (2 units)
  • Butter (10g)
  • Coffee with milk (200ml)
  • The next day, when logging your breakfast:

  • Select the "Breakfast" favorite meal
  • The three foods appear at once
  • If today you only ate 1 roll, just edit the amount
  • Done – entry made in seconds!
