Backup and data restore

By default, Diablesse keeps your data in your private cloud account (iCloud on iOS, Google Drive on Android), synced automatically across your devices. In addition, you can create a manual backup — a file that works as an extra copy or to move your data to another device.

Create a backup

Go to Settings → Backup & Restore

Tap Export Backup

The app generates a .json file with all your meals, favorites, and settings

Choose where to save it: iCloud Drive, Google Drive, email, etc.

Restore a backup

Go to Settings → Backup & Restore

Tap Import Backup

Select the .json file saved previously

Confirm the operation — note: current data will be replaced

Backup file security

The backup file contains your health data in plain text (JSON). We recommend saving it in a secure location, such as iCloud Drive (with Advanced Data Protection enabled) or your Google Drive account.
