Hide fields when adding a diary entry

Hide fields in a new entry

How to customize entry fields in Diablesse

To make filling in your diary faster and more focused, you can hide fields that aren't relevant to your day-to-day. That way, when adding a new entry, you only see the information that really matters to you.

Accessing customization

Go to Settings in the main menu and select Entry fields.

How it works

On the Entry fields screen, you'll see a list of all the fields available for diary entries (such as glucose, carbs, insulin, medications, notes, etc.).

For each field, you can:

  • Keep it active – the field will appear on the entry screen
  • Uncheck/hide it – the field will be removed from the entry screen, simplifying input
  • Practical example

    {% table %}

  • If you...
  • You can hide fields like...
  • ---
  • Don't use insulin
  • Bolus
  • ---
  • Don't count carbs
  • Foods
  • ---
  • Don't take medications at entry time
  • Medications
  • ---
  • Just want to note your glucose
  • All other fields
  • {% /table %}

    Saving your changes

    After checking or unchecking the fields you want, tap Save. The changes will be applied immediately on the new-entry screen.

    ---

    πŸ’‘ Tip: You can re-enable any field anytime by returning to this same screen. Customization doesn't delete old data – it only redefines which fields appear for new entries.
