How to adjust your glucose range

Glucose Range

How to adjust the glucose range in the app

The glucose range defines the limits considered "normal" for your readings. The app uses these values to classify your glucose levels, generate alerts, and track trends.

Accessing the setting

Go to Settings in the main menu and select Glucose Range.

Option 1: Use quick presets

The app offers three presets based on clinical guidelines. Just select the one that best applies to your situation:

{% table %}

  • Profile
  • Normal range (mg/dL)
  • ---
  • Diabetic
  • 70 to 180
  • ---
  • Non-diabetic
  • 70 to 99
  • ---
  • Gestational
  • 70 to 140
  • {% /table %}

    💡 The values above are general references. Your doctor may recommend different ranges based on your treatment.

    Option 2: Manual custom adjustment

    If you prefer or have specific medical guidance, you can set manually:

  • Low limit — minimum value considered normal
  • High limit — maximum value considered normal
  • Tap the corresponding fields and type the desired numbers.

    Saving changes

    After choosing a preset or manually adjusting the limits, remember to tap Save to apply the new settings.

    ⚠️ Important: Consult your doctor before modifying the glucose range, especially if you use automatic alerts. Poorly adjusted ranges can generate incorrect notifications or inappropriate guidance.
