Quick actions in notifications

Log glucose, mark a medication as taken, or basal insulin as applied straight from the reminder, without opening the app.

Diablesse reminders come with quick actions: you respond right in the notification, without opening the app. It works on iPhone (iOS) and Android, and on your watch too (Apple Watch and Wear OS).

What you can do

Depending on the reminder, the notification offers an action:

  • Glucose reminder (and the meal reminder too): a field to log glucose β€” just type the value.
  • Medication reminder: a Mark as taken button.
  • Basal insulin reminder: a Mark as applied button.
  • How to use it

  • On iPhone: hold (long-press) the notification to open the actions, choose the action and, for glucose, type the value and send.
  • On Android and Wear OS: tap the notification and choose the action; for glucose, type the value.
  • Done β€” the entry lands in your Diary right away.

    What gets recorded

  • Glucose: the value you typed.
  • Medication: the medication marked as taken.
  • Basal insulin: the basal marked as applied.
  • Every entry made from a notification is saved as a manual entry, with the time of the moment you confirmed it, and appears in the app and the widgets right after.

    Frequently asked questions

Which glucose value is accepted? A number greater than 0 and less than 1000. You can use a comma or a dot β€” the app understands both.

Do I need the app to be open? No. The action happens right in the notification, and the entry appears in the Diary as soon as you confirm.

Does it work from the watch? Yes. The watch mirrors the notification and the same actions, on Apple Watch and Wear OS.
